Through August, 1998, a well-preserved bison skull was present in gully fill to the western bank in the Missouri River. The skull was resting the other way up in the vicinity of the bottom of a gully incised in to the upper Component of the Niobrara Development. The gully was subsequently filled with badly sorted unconsolidated content consisting o
